Why integration, not disposable inboxes

The disposable inbox pitch

Some products give each agent a throwaway address. That looks tidy in demos. It fails for developer work:

  • Vendor mail (GitHub, CI, registries) already lands in your identity.

  • OAuth and app connections are tied to that identity.

  • Threads, CC lists, and legal records need a stable owner.

  • You cannot “own” a conversation that never touched your account.

Integration model

aei watches your Gmail. Agents use the same CLI you trust (Himalaya). Drafts stay in your Drafts folder. Sending remains a human action until you opt into something riskier.

That is the whole product thesis: agentic behavior without surrendering the mailbox.
