2026-07-27 – Agent shell registry

Summary

Started a living catalog of standalone agent execution shells, fleet orchestrators, runtimes, inference hosts, and interconnects — including LM Studio Bionic — so DevCentr can detect, recommend, and hand off without building a competing agent control plane.

  • Definition files doc updated to describe the new registry beside AI client profiles

  • Companion explanation lives in general-knowledge (agent control planes + compute topologies)

Why

Training data and ad-hoc lists miss players (Bionic) and conflate IDE agents, CLI runtimes, and desktop shells. One SDL file is the allow-listed source of truth for shopping and future detection.
