Windows Testing on Linux

Common approaches:

  • CI runners with Windows images (GitHub Actions windows-latest)

  • WSL2 for Linux-side tooling while keeping a Windows workspace on the host

  • Nested VMs / cloud Windows agents for full GUI and installer tests
