Mermaid 11 renders text as SVG text, while the versioned theme bindings provide complete light and dark palettes without foreignObject.

AsciiDoc image blocks carry the themed-svg role so sites can progressively upgrade the portable image without passthrough HTML.

Git’s file-shaped change model: onboarding section linking connectome-fs pathogenesis + composition essay and the tgc sidecar pilot.

three-altitudes.svg (and sibling rename-breakage-mockup.svg) declared UTF-8 but contained latin-1 MIDDLE DOT 0xB7 bytes. Browsers refuse the XML (Invalid character in the given encoding); the live <img> looked broken even though _images/ returned 200 and the alt was already quoted.

Rewrote labels to ASCII separators (` / ); escaped bare `& in the rename mockup. Also repaired ai/curated-watching-linkage.svg the same way.

Renamed asset to hree-altitudes-diagram.svg so the live page points at a new _images/ URL (CDN still held the broken bytes at the old path for up to 4h).
