2026-08-18 — Appearance font deferred items

  • settings.d: five allowed code faces (Fira Code, Iosevka, Monaspace Neon); codeFontLigatures persisted in ui-settings.json.

  • settings_dialog.d: five font radios; ligature demo line + toggle; FontInstallWatcher polls Scriptbook exit and refreshes preview in place.

  • fonts.d: refreshCodeFontCache() re-enumerates Win32 fonts; Monaspace variant install detection; FONT_PREVIEW_LIGATURES.

  • font_install.d: playbook mapping for Fira Code, Iosevka, Monaspace; launchFontInstall returns spawned Pid.

  • Spec Appearance (code font) — five radios, ligature preview, live refresh after install.

Still later / never (not forgotten): full font-manager module, Fontsource npm web font UI, Nerd Font as a toggle (not a radio), proprietary picker. See appearance-font-roadmap.
