workspace

Workspace is a place-word. Slack, Notion, and Figma use it for the thing you join. That is a truce they made because they did not have a precise word. It is not evidence.

If the word is spatial, the screen has to be spatial. A list of names and prices is not a place. It is scalar values to memorize. The word would be lying.

It also drags in the mid-2000s IDE, where a workspace was a folder of files. We are not describing a directory.

The thing you belong to is an entity.
