Nomenclature

We have to say what we are willing to call things. A wrong word is a product decision. Account, workspace, and organization each smuggle a different object into the same sentence.

The glossary is the record. One page per term. An article that needs the word links to the page. It does not redefine it.

Glossary

Browse every term on one page.

  • user — the login

  • entity — the thing a user creates or joins, and the thing a plan is applied to

  • account — refused for that second object, because it already means the login selector

  • workspace — a place-word for a screen that is not a place

  • organization — the schema table, not the picker label

The purchase picker says Choose an entity: That rule is on the entity page.

Confluence does not ship a governed glossary. Antora does not highlight these terms inside other pages. Those are tools. This page is the decision to keep the words in one glossary.
