Project typography (font lock)
Purpose
Users choose open/OSS, paid retail, or mixed typography per project. DevCentr supplies recommended OSS faces and foundry checkout links for retail — it does not scrape fonts or auto-download commercial files.
This spec is not Appearance (code font) (suite terminal/code chrome).

Recommended OSS UI sans include DM Sans, Source Sans 3, Inter, Plus Jakarta Sans, IBM Plex Sans. Recommended OSS code monos: JetBrains Mono, Cascadia Mono (DevCentr terminal default remains Cascadia Mono).

Projects using Visual App Editor mirror typography choices in visual_app_editor.sdl:
