2026-08-30 — Templates docs audit

Two start pages began with a literal pipe before the equals sign (|= Title). AsciiDoc treated that as table markup, so Antora left the HTML title Untitled and rendered the title line in the body. Removed the pipe; set the component start H1 to Templates.

Rewrote the article so vernacular Linux, FSF/GNU GNU+Linux, and optional house Linux+GNU stay in separate registers. Undid automation that claimed the OS is “commonly known as Linux+GNU” and removed the Linux+GNU+GNU typo. Other templates pages that listed platforms now say Linux again.

pages/dev/ held Antora demo stubs (Components with a Hello World block; a second Getting Started) plus encyclopedia-style tools and educational lists. They were not scaffold-specific and appeared in the sidebar as Dev:. Removed from the published tree. Point cold readers at General Knowledge for recommended tools.

Why use Corepack overlapped the better install how-to. Merged into one page, Using Corepack (short why + leader/follower steps). Tool hierarchy retitled to match nav and links to the merged page.

Keep templates as the product/scaffold component (workspace templates, Dev Center integration, committing/SSH/Corepack as they relate to using this repo). Do not mega-merge into General Knowledge; deep-link encyclopedia material there instead. Further optional moves later: SSH keys and tool-hierarchy explanations if GK grows matching how-tos.
